Originally a street vendor, then a wine merchant, Auguste Fauchon created the company that bears his name in 1886. He developed the Fauchon store in Paris, France, on Place de la Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement.

I love Adam&Eve magazine...it has a theme for every issue and this time it was my favourite " Chocolate" :)Here they have covered Fauchon and an interview with The pastry chef Thierry Foehrenbach.
